General Election - Vote for Opposition

Yes, vote for the Opposition for a stronger Check & Balance Front. Don't just complain the last 50 years how bad our country has fared. It's time for you to align your grievances and don't blunder it again this time. Or not, you will have to wait another 4 to 5 years to vote again.
Do it right now. Afterall, BN will still be in the Government. We just need a stronger OPPOSITION for a effective running of the Country.
We all love MALAYSIA.
After so many General Elections I am back attending ceramahs. It is a wonderful feeling again to be excited in the coming election.
Last night I attended one at Section 1, Wangsa Maju and managed to catch Anwar Ibrahim and Wee Choo Keong speaking.
You can see old and young, mak cik, kids. Malay, Indian, Chinese and other races in the crowd. The size of the crowd was very encouraging despite that there were interruptions of power supply causing intermittent disruptions of the speeches. Nevertheless, it was one of the good evenings for the people of Wangsa Maju.Anwar Ibrahim, a good orator and still got the oomph and impact when he delivers this speech. The crowd really love to hear what he got to say.

All the best to Mr. Wee Choo Keong, candidate for the Parlimentary Seat of Wangsa Maju.

Penang Lum Mee @ Hartamas Loh Mee Corner

Back to the Penang Noodle Corner at Desa Hartamas (opposite True Fitness Center) where they sell Curry Mee on Mondays, Loh Mee from Tuesdays to Thursdays and Fridays Prawn Mee and Loh Mee.
Today for the second time, they are offering Penang Lum Mee served with sambal belacan. It's delicious and will go for it again.
The difference between KL Lum Mee and Penang Lum Mee is basically two things. 1. the Penang soup is very much plainer (not starchy) than KL and 2. the yellow noodle used in KL is the fatter one.
You can find prawns, poached pork belly and sliced fried egg in the bowl of noodle.
The poached pork belly being sliced for serving.
Go try it out. Something different in KL.

This advertisement caught my attention while I was answering the call of nature this morning.

Correct, Correct, Correct,

the ad looks like and sounds like the famous Very Kamikaze Lingam episode.

Penang Curry Mee @ Kepong Industrial Park

Found another Penang Curry Noodle stall in the vicinity of Kepong Industrial Park at a corner coffee shop at Jalan Persiaran KIP 1.
A typical Penang style with cockles, prawns, cuttlefish, towpok, long bean, blood cube and thinly sliced pork skin.
The chilli paste is slightly oily but overall the taste is not too bad, worth a try.

Pork Noodle @ Bandar Menjalara

Double One is the name of the corner coffee shop at Bandar Menjalara where you can find one of the popular Pork Noodle sold here.
This is the stall with sufficient no. of workers to service you despite the business is normally busy at most of the time.
The man whom always wear a baseball cap differently is the man or the cook for the Pork noodle.

CNY Steamboat @ home 16 Feb '08

It was a great happening at 19 Puncak Setiawangsa 7 on the night of 16 Feb 08 till 1.15am 17 Feb '08.

Everyone enjoyed the steamboat. The first group to kick start the dinner.

Followed by our neighbours, the Ung Family and the Tey Family. Xiang Yi with his friend, Joshua.

Jo & Daddy.

Khek Tjian, Chu Luei & Yun Nee.

The steam boat.

We have 4 corners of different interest. The prosperity corner where Hwee Wen & members were warming up for the big Stalk but eventually, the Banker Lai Yoong made money at the end of the session.

Mahjong Corner, the kids' corner and the serious drinking corner.

The master chefs preparing porridge for the second helping from the steamboat. Beng Pin watching the mother of all porridge being prepared.Must add two eggs into it and the end result was fantastic. what a delicious master creation.

The serious drinkers were enjoying old Brandy salvaged from the store room. One and half bottle of Martell XO Supreme and a bottle of Cordon Bleu.

And adjourned to the back yard for another bottle of Henessy XO. What a Brandy night!!
Looking for Daddy and time to go home said Tjian.
