A group of 13 of us gathered for a Sunday lunch at Restoran Garden World, Lot 46 & 47 Jalan Sungai Buloh, Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya. After the previous lunch at Sungai Buloh New Village, everyone was looking forward for more exciting meals.
This place is located along the famous row selling landscaping related materials; and it is not easy to find as it is set back from the main road, you need to watch for the signboard.
Another landmark is the old and red coloured London Telephone booths.
Beautiful lotus flower in front of the restaurant.
This place is popular for its tilapia; steam with preserved vegetable called “chai poh”.
Live tilapia outside the restaurant.
Claypot kampong chicken cooked with Chinese wine.
Interesting “Hockchew” fried rice. My father in-law said there is not such dish even in China. It must be a new creation by this operator.
Stir fried vegetable with garlic.
Tofu with minced meat & egg on hot plate.
Deep fried Pork rib
And one more dish, a stewed pork which I forgot to take picture of it.
All these for a cost of RM171.00 including a pot of Chinese tea and 2 cans of 100plus
.
