Kuala Lumpur in the old days

The bridge in the picture should have gone by now but the landscape at Lake Garden has improved tremendously but do not know about the quality of air. Anyway, it is still one of the best green areas of Kuala Lumpur.

The Padang of Kuala Lumpur, where the British used to hang out for their social activities at a club called Royal Selangor Club and now the area is known as Dataran Merdeka.

The General Hospital of Kuala Lumpur is still located at the same place (between Jalan Pahang & Jalan Tun Razak) and of course with more buildings and facilities now.

Wow.. so cool, I mean the traffic. Now this place is congested with buildings, people and traffic jams. I think I prefer the old Jalan Bukit Bintang.

The popular area of the Royal Malaysian Police where the Special Branch is housed, of course no more cow cart being used now. Were those the Special Branch Officers in the picture?

The meeting of the two rivers forming the City of Kuala Lumpur, the Capital of Malaysia. You can still see the mosque Masjid Jamek today. LRT (Light Rapid Transport Station is also next to it)

Petaling Street, the Chinatown of Kuala Lumpur where situation was so relax with clean air and not crowded. How nice if we could taxi around with the rickshaws.

The Muesum is still around and still elevated as seen in this photograph but with slight face lift of the building facade.
