A Sunday hunt for something different for breakfast and also wanted to try the new expressway, DUKE (Duta Ulu Kelang Expressway) which was just opened (partially) 2 days back. From Jalan Jelatek, we headed to MRR2 (Middle Ring Road 2) exit @ Ulu Kelang. We started hunting around Ampang area and at last, we noticed a shop along Jalan Besar Ampang crowded with people, so we decided to check it out. It is just opposite a Fire Station and the shop is called Kedai Makanan Sun Sun (GPS location : 3.1459, 101.7628) .
The front of the shop is heavily covered with pastel green sun blind. The back entrance is used by people coming from the wet market making this place crowded and difficult to get seat.
Apparently the best pork noodle in this area is found here, so we ordered a bowl. Alright a taste but not exciting enough. 
Another popular one is curry noodles, but found that it’s nothing great about it. 
An order of steamed bread which comes with kaya & butter to complete the breakfast. We felt that the breakfast in Ampang is nothing fantastic except or maybe their famous Yong Tau Foo of Ampang.
