Ipoh Road Hakka Yong Tau Fu @ Setapak, KL

There are many Hakka Yong Tow Foo shops in Klang Valley, but these 2 competitors, Ampang Yong Tow Foo and Ipoh Road Yong Tau Fu have spread all over with branches in the whole of Klang Valley. Tonight, we visited Ipoh Road Hakka Yong Tau Fu @ Taman Danau Kota, Setapak.
The food was not that satisfying. I would strongly recommend you to visit the main branch for good, delicious and fresh Yong Tow Foo and not at the branches.
The wrapped chicken was hard and flat in taste.
The fish balls were tasteless.
Assam fish is equally bad, the picture here tells.
The Yong Tau Foo were average could have been better.
Fried Yong Tau Foo was best among the lot; any food fried always does not give a true taste of the food or the freshness of the food. Well, you only visit these branches if you do not have a choice. The sauce for the Yong Tow Foo.
