Restoran Lau Kau Bak Kut Teh, Segambut – Re-ViSit

One of the Ching Beng rituals is to make sure that the person in the other world has acknowledged the presence of his or her relatives and most importantly acknowledges that he or she has finished the offered meal. This is usually done by tossing two coins, if there is a head and a tail together then it considered “DONE”.
Before my Mother in-Law has finished her meal I called Lau Kau BaK Kut Teh to prepare Pork Ribs Porridge for 6 people. I hope my Mother in-law do not mind cause it takes 45 minutes to cook this porridge. After we have finished with ceremony of Ching Beng, the group followed me to Segambut for breakfast. All of them enjoyed their breakfast and it was another good food adventure for them at this place in Segambut. Another happy moment with pork rib porridge....A claypot of normal Bak Kut Teh (mixed) and another pot of dark sauce Bak Kut Teh. There were other orders such as Steamed Tilapia with chili sauce and fesh vegetable.
