Restoran Queen's @ Peel Road Traffic Light

This is one crowded coffee shop with so many stalls in and around this corner coffee shop. It is sited at the traffic light junction together with a Shell Petrol Station and Queen’s Park facing each others. You can not miss Restoran Queen’s at Jalan Peel.We were confused as to what to eat, what to order, where to find tables etc etc…. It is a real haphazard coffee shop with too many stalls, too much stuff and too many people in a small corner. We were sitting inside the shop and it was like an oven. How to enjoy your food even if the food is fantastic? What can you expect when there are about 10 hot stoves at the peripheral of the verandah? The heat not only from comes these hot stoves but also the human heat within the shop, very uncomfortable indeed. Worst of all we were put off by a big rat running underneath our table…..
The only consolation coming to Queen’s is this delicious dish steamed “Song” fish head. It has on a certain degree pacified us from our disappointment of this place.

The BBQ spring chicken was just ok ok only…. Maybe we should have ordered the wings instead of the spring chicken….
The Satay tasted alright for the chicken but not the beef…

The Satay stall is doing excellent business. We were told by the Tai Chow lady boss that there is a better one nearby. This one is rushing his BBQ and forgetting the quality part of it.
Despite the fact that it’s a popular shop but I would not want to visit this place again if given a choice.
