Fantastic Bak Kut Teh -@ Sheng Huat, Jinjang North

It was Ang Kia who brought me here, a gem at Jinjang North and I would say that this is a marvellous Bak Kut Teh stall.

It was a late meal at Sheng Huat Bak Kut Teh. It has to be late because this stall opens only a few minutes before 11.00p.m. And before this time, there will be customers waiting for their orders to be taken by the operator. Be patient, the operator only starts to take the order when the BKT is ready to be served. So wait & enjoy the Chinese tea for the time being…. This BKT is definitely worth a try, especially if you like BKT.

A bowl of Swai Kut (small bone) and Pai Kut (spare ribs) of Bak Kut Teh is very common in Kuala Lumpur or Klang but this shop is different, it is the soup that made it special.
The soup looks like kopi “O”and has a strong herbal taste and aroma. Black but not thick.
As you sip the soup more you will tend to enjoy the taste. I like it. It has a stronger taste of herbs.

The pig intestines were awesome in plain and peppery soup. The intestines were tightly stuffed and chewy.
This is the kut of the Swai Kut (small bone) at the end of the story. Happy Hunting....
