Kampung Baru Air Panas was an isolated Chinese New Village situated at Setapak which has now merged with other surrounding developments such as Genting Klang, Sri Rampai and Titiwangsa and has becomes a popular place to market our daily consumables. It is now easily accessible from all areas. The most prominent feature used to be the famous hot spring which has now becomes a history.
Kedai Kopi Wah Chue is an old wooden shop sited at the corner of Jalan Ayer Lombong, near the DBKL wet market. The fish ball noodle is very popular among the locals and as usual business is brisk.
A wet version of noodle with extra topping of fish paste, small fried fish balls (but succulent in the inside) and fish cake. The soup is slightly salty but it was delicious.
“Kon Loh mee” noodle (dry version) with fish cake.
