Fried Noodles @ Restoran Tuck Kee, Ipoh

The journey back to KL was longer than expected, we stopped at Ipoh to break the boredom and to search for some Ipoh food. The time was around 5.30pm the sun was hot and setting, we parked our car near the famous Waisekkai (Glutton Street) of Ipoh and went surveying for food.
The 2 Taugeh Chicken shops were packed with people we wouldn’t want to go near it and decided on Tuck Kee Restaurant which was a few doors away.

Sar Hor Fun was the favourite among the 3 noodles we tried. It was delicious, the Hor Fun was smooth and soothing to eat.

The second favourite was the Char Hor Fun, at first when the waiter brought the bowl of noodle, I thought it was Loh Mee (something like Ulu Yam’s Loh Mee) but it turned out to be Char Hor Fun served in a bowl with lot of thick gravy.
And the third noodle was the Dai Lok Mee, just like KL Hokkien Mee but with lighter colour. It was good too.

Before the noodles came, we had these nice and soft Braised Chicken feet.

Ipoh bean sprout was another must try dish when you are in Ipoh.

It was our first time here in Tuck Kee Restaurant and we love the noodles here.

We reached our house exactly 2 minutes to 10.00pm. It was surely a long journey back to KL. A 7 hours journey........
