Lunch @ Xianwei Restaurant on the 2nd Day of CNY @ Sg. Petani, Kedah

After visiting our Uncle at Padang Serai, we proceeded to Sungai Petani for lunch. Yong Lim brought us to Xian Wei Restaurant. We were glad to find this place available on the second day of CNY.

Four Seasons - a good starter as most of us were hunger and was late for lunch.

Shark's fin for this auspicious occasion like Chinese New Year.

This poached boneless chicken is the best among all the dishes, it was delicious and juicy.

A dish of broccoli with succulent prawns, nuts, carrot, mushroom was also gorgeous.

Steam pomfret with Xianwei special sauce was yummy too. Apparently this is the restaurant signature dish. And few others which I forget to snap.

Gunung Jerai formerly known as “Kedah Peak” (1200 metres above sea level) is a wonderful hill resort of Kedah and this year we decided to visit this place and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Gunung Jerai. Maybe it’s a good idea to stay a night there in the future and enjoy the cool evening of Gunung Jerai. Kedah boleh!!!!
