More on Restoran Dragon City @ Sri Rampai, Setapak, KL

Here I will continue the documentation of the invasion of Bukit Tinggi foods into Setapak territory and more on Restoran Dragon City. My previous posting can be viewed here.

Steamed Tilapia fish (RM21.30 @ 850g) with wolfberry & Dong kui was magnificent. The gravy was super tasty and the fish meat was succulent and tender. It was very good indeed.

Wild boar meat (RM16.00) is easily available in Bukit Tinggi, instead of our usual curry cooked meat we had it in soy sauce and ginger. The meat was tender and the taste was gorgeous.

The thinly slices of fried pork belly (RM13.00) with sweet sauce was a killer. This dish is definitely better than the nearby restaurant “Canton’s Kitchen”. This one is more chewy and not that hard & dry.
The Home made Tofu (RM9.00) was good in it own way coated with a generous topping of minced meat. This is an all time favourite for my boys.

We ordered 2 veggies for the night.
The 4 Heavenly King (RM10.00) was good. Supposed to be a combination of 4 vegetables, the French beans as crunchy as ever, brinjal was interesting and angle beans were delicious. Even though one of the ingredients was missing …. the lady finger.
Chinese cabbage (RM8.00) stir fried with dried small shrimps was well cooked and also scored a credit here.

This is a place worth visiting for a nice & simple meal.
