It's morning call and let's go cari makan .... |
Our vehicles were ready to roll ...... |
We went visiting small market places with many food vendors such as this one. |
A scene of a Caucasian "professionally" checking on a durian. The way he handled the fruit tells you he knows his stuff. I am still salivating looking at the thorny fruits. |
We were combing the area and has yet to decide where to eat. |
I tried a Ayam Goreng Lalapan, salad, sambal hijau with a bowl of plain rice. I simply love to spiciness of the green sambal especially eaten together with the fried chicken the lalapan way. |
Three of us went for a spa session next to the cafe known as Uma Mani Villa & Spa and came back to the hostel fresh and rejuvenated. |
Resting at the hostel and enjoying the breeze by the pool side. |
Our standard serving of nasi Babi Guling on our table. |
The KL folks enjoying their food in a local Babi Guling shop in Southern part of Kuta, Badung. |
A dessert from one of the convenience shop on a hot day and after a good lunch before we make our way to GWK Cultural park. More stories coming soon on Part 2 of Day 2. |
