Lunch @ The Ming Room @ Bangsar Shopping Complex

On the 7th Day of CNY, Mr. A.S. Lee gave a CNY lunch treat to his staff and friends at Bangsar Shopping Complex.

Loh Sang an original Malaysian way of ushering a good new year, Singapore and Hong Kong are also following us to in this Loh Sang culture.

Roasted piglet with crispy skin to eat first, then the skinless piglet taken back to the kitchen to be re-do into this.

Red wine to go with the CNY foods. The huge wine glasses were kind of in the way getting the foods from the centre.

Everyone enjoying the foods.

Melon stuffed with dried oysters, mushroom, etc. etc..

Fish fillet rolled into dumpling steamed with bean sprouts.

Lion Dance @ The Office on the 7th Day CNY

Preparation by the Lion Dance Troupe before the ceremony.

This troupe is actually a team of school kids from a Chinese School in Puchong.

After the lions went roaming in the building, they came out to show off their skills.

The drum that makes all difference, it creates a great feeling of the whole atmoshpere.

Golf Day @ Danau UKM - 11 Feb 08

We had a perfect afternoon and indeed a lovely weather for an enjoyable golf at Danau, UKM, Bangi with a total of 8 balls.

The greens are hard and fast. Boon said it is a "Commando" course lah.

But we had this putt from Jimmy, a birdie from a distant putt. What a memorable putt for him.

Our friendly opponents CC & Boon reading the green.
Boon executing the putt for a win.
Over swing by Mr. Jimmy Lim @ the Tee Box.
Boon demonstrating his up swing and say ONE

TWO and go.

Dinner at Seri Kembangan, Jalan Besar at Restoran Chen Fatt. The place was over crowded, fortunately we called earlier for a reservation and managed to secure a table.

Gathering of Kulim Schoolmates & Friends

The Man Section.

What a hectic day for me, this gathering was the last activity of the day and was so tired and sleepy as I drove back to Sg. Petani from Taman Machang Bubok.
I am very sorry for forgetting an old classmate of mine, Prema, after all these years, my brain cells must deteriorating. But after the gathering, memories of Badlishah days started to recollect vividly. My sincere apology to Prema. I can now remember the Prema, a schoolgirl neatly dressed in white shirt and blue uniform, of course, with the school badge. Always neat and tidy....right...

This was the tea house where we gathered ourselves and sembang till wee hours of the morning.

Komplek Jetty Merbok, Sg Petani

Another experience for the family where we were able to take a joy cruise along the River Merbok.

The boat.

We had light refreshment before the boat cruise.

It was a good experience for the young ones to take such a ride in this Merbok River, eventhough my mother was skeptical about it initially.

The ladies sitting obediently and enjoying the breeze.

Yong Lim & Family.

Yen Aik enjoying the ride.
Hin Hoe & his son, Chin Siong.

We were able to see the beautiful mangrove vegetation along the river and the long legged white birds (bagau).

The jetty complex which is still under extension.

Visiting a platform rearing fishes was another fantastic experience we will treasure this forever.

Walking on narrow timber pathways was interesting, if you are not careful you might fall into the water.

Beautiful sun set as we cruised down the river.
