Chinese New Year is Approaching and it's Eat, Eat & Eat

My first Yee Sang @ Tuck Kee, Bukit Maluri and more to come which might be scary if there are too many.. The first was good but I do not know about the coming ones.
This is the only time restaurants would capitalise on this tradition in Malaysia.....and as we Lou Sang and the more we do it the more happier will be the restaurant operators.

Prawn fritters were succulent and delicious, I like this dish though the presentation was not really enticing.
Loong Tan giant grouper cooked in a soup was a good recommendation by Ah Tuck. The fish meat was yummy.
Stir fried Kai Lan nothing special in fact slightly over fried.
Braised fish maws with mushroom and broccoli was a good choice and another delicious fry by Tuck Kee.
Kampong chicken well poached with meat that was tender and juicy, thumb up.
Glutinous rice with persevered meats was a bit disappointment to me, I would love the rice grains to be grainy.
Eight golfers enjoying good food and whisky after a show down at a golf course to determine who will be the four injured players to foot the bill. Thanks to the four of them, I enjoyed the dinner very much.
Big roast pig for a big group of golfers, we were fortunate to sample this roasted meat and thanks to their generosity.

Friends of Titiwangsa Last Challenge of 2011 @ Kelab Rahman Putra

Time to say bye bye to 2010 and we do it by a game of golf. 1st flight with Brandon, Wee, CKK & Denise.
2nd flight were hApPy, Danny, Yeaw & KL.
Chiam, Bagwan, Robert & Ronnie on the 3rd flight.

Enjoy the golf while we can.....
The rain came but we were patient we waited, we continued and completed the game.
Thinking of the game plan while it pours .....what's the next strategy?
After a tiring day the cold beer was our best friend .

Yes, we came back to Tuck Kee but for his food....
Cheers for 2011 and cheer for the fellowship...
Steamed "Sai Toh" fish balls to entice our appetite.
Chinese New Year is coming ..... you can smell it here...

Fried fish paste with wonderful aroma and fleshy & bouncy bites.
Pork belly in 2 tastes - and it was a great taste indeed.
Big Oysters on a layer of fried egg served in hot plate.
This was the most expensive dish RM200.00 steam fish head.
Chicken fired with ginger, soy sauce & rice wine.
A dish of nice bitter gourd magic.

Pork ribs porridge in hot clay pot.

I love this bitter gourd with fish & meat paste...it's so delicious.

Salmon Run @ KRPM Dinner @ Restoran Tuck Kee

I enjoyed this crackers, it is thin, cripsy, tasty and addictive.
Three bottles of whiskies for this dinner and that is too much for a table of 10.
We pre-ordered a salmon fish from Ah Tuck (the owner of Restoran Tuck Kee) for our salmon run at Kelab Rahman Putra. This was a delicious and sweet raw salmon fish.
The players of the day some were "injured" and some won. That's part of the game and all ended well with a happy & lovely dinner at Restoran Tuck Kee @ Bukit Maluri, Kepong.
The salmon was so truly lovely, everyone enjoyed it and it needs not take a "nihon gin" to serve good raw fish. Ah Tuck can do it.
Shark bone's soup was marvellously tasty.
Smoked duck meat slices at the peripheral with smoked chicken meat at the core. The smoked meat was a bit salty but paired well with Old Parr.
This was an interesting dish of a comnbination of seafoods, fried dried fishes, blanched octopus, baby abalone and jelly fish. Very suitable for our whiskies drinking....
Ah Tuck's creation of the remains of our salmon fish in a clay pot with a mix of cooked meat and crispy fried fish head and bones. It was a great dish and really something special for us.
The grilled lamb did not turn out well, it was slightly tough and fortunately I had the smallest piece and was able to finish it.
Siu Pak Choy with minced meat & chopped prawns toppings was another delicious dish.
It was time for some carbohyrate intake and it had to be a Hokkien Fried Noodle...truly sinful.
Ah Tuck had the honour to mix the fried noodle and the egg. Thanks to Ah Tuck a 100% customer friendly chap.
hApPy winners...
The players for the whiskies challenge.... Almost everyone "ta pau" Ah Tuck's big pau back home after the sumptous meal.  There were already talks of the next warfare and looks like one being fixed before the end of 2011.
