Re-Shooting of a Cycling Group

Another special weekend for a group foldies taking part in a re-shoot for a TV programme. We were supposed to get back the same group of people for the re-shoot but some of them just could not made it.

My early morning request for a decent breakfast at Taman Melawati.

Our precious bikes chained together as we took care of our tummies.

A big spread of food served by a big fellow who resembles a Harley rider....

Off we went to meet the Producer, technical crew & the Director.

I took the group for a detour to avoid the heavy traffic junction and going through an interesting small Indian community.

Our meeting point was at the National Zoo.

A chance of a life time to be shot....hehehe.

The noise level at the earlier scene wasn't that good we had to move further in and it involved a couple of good climbs. It was a good work out too.

Sorry Girl I forgot to tell you about the climb but anyway you did fine.

The interview with the female cyclists ..... their experiences....etc etc.... thumb up!

We took the opportunity to visit a newly opened bicycle shop at Wangsa Walk. Thank you for the support given in the re-shoot.

My First Visit to Kemensah Hills.

The Magnificent Seven of the day for a great experience.

We started our ride at Shell Gas Station next to Carrefour in Wangsa Maju.

Off we went getting out of Wangsa Maju and heading towards Taman Melawati for some greener atmosphere.

Fong took us to a coffee shop in Taman Melawati for breakfast which was necessary for us to build up our fuel level.

The limestone hills of Klang Gate was getting bigger and bigger as we moved on.

A quiet road at the fringe of Taman Melawati that leads us to Jalan Air Kolam.

The scenes of Jalan Air Kolam where a kampong is situated and is called Kg. Klang Gate.

Beautiful tall trees along this main road as we were going out of  Melawati and was heading to Zoo Negara.

We stopped for a while at the Zoo.

The condition of National Zoo has much to be desired and if we are not careful we can goodbye to this zoo in no time.

I like the kampong atmosphere it is so serene & quiet.

The ride here was generally going and going up the hills. Some of the climbs were tough and some of us virtually had to push up on the steeper terrain.

I did not realise that there are so many "mini resorts" in this area which is so near the city.

A fishing pond is also available for keen anglers.

This is one of the many picnic spots in Kemensah and this particular one seems very interesting with young boys having a good fun.

This is one of the biggest parks found here which many interesting facilities like horse riding, war paint game and etc etc.

The only one left to challenge the last climb and the rest have given up.

Well done Rivern for the ultimate climb.

Before we say goodbye for the ride, we went to Mak Jah Mee Udang for a wonderful lunch.
