Super Hot Ayam Penyet Ria @ Wangsa Walk

I have to change our eating out habit with my family not always the usual Chinese "Tai Chow" so I took them to this place at Wangsa Walk "Ayam Penyet Ria". There is a few different operators for this Indonesian food and not all are as good like this one. The sambal is something to remember here it's super duper hot....
A simple decor but conducive and nice.
This is the signature dish  Ayam Penyet crisply fried and juicy & tender in the inside, of course the sambal is a challenge. Thumb up!!!!
Ayam Bakar (BBQ Chicken) probably healthier with lesser oil.
Beautifully deep fried golden prawns, so crispy that I would chew the whole entire prawn and it's marvelous....I like it. How nice if I would eat it with a glass of beer, I bet they will pair very well.
Smashed fried beef was a tough affair maybe it requires to acquire a liking to handle this tough meat. Palatable especially with the powerful sambal.
The Satay is different from our Malaysian Satay, the meat was tender and succulent . The gravy though oily but very enticing with chopped chilli padi besides the onions. I would love to try it again.
A glance of the food available at Ria.

Jombali Truly Malaysian Favourites

Welcome to Jombali. I can say food here is good and Jombali has proven to be one of the good food providers in town. This one is in Carrefour Wangsa Maju.
Nasi Goereng Tiga Rasa Ayam RM12.90

Nasi Kebuli Supreme Ayam Madu RM14.90

Nasi Goreng Belacan RM8.90
Cheesy fish and chips truly not a Malaysian favourite but a common western food in Malaysia. RM13.90

Bandung Lychee RM5.90 & Soya Cendol RM4.90
Rojak Buah RM6.90 (I was a bit disappointed, the gravy was watery and more of cucumber than any other fruits).
My family like it here, TV3 jalan2 cari makan was here too and on the overall  it is a good place to visit.

Dessert @ sweet bowl, Wangsa Walk Mall, Wangsa Maju KL

A small shop at one end of the mall (near TGiF) but serves very good desserts, snacks and local noodles.
One of the best shops with very good patronage.
Go try their noodles and I assure you will not regret.
Small, compact and yet efficient with satisfactory service.
Most importantly, the food must be good.
And you will be back to sweet bowl for more.
Bubur Cha Cha - my favourite warm & sweet dessert and it's awesome @sweet bowl. A super delicious dessert of coconut milk with sweet potato, yam, banana, sago & tapioca pearls.
Warm and sweet potato dessert with good ginger aroma and taste.
Mak Chok (wheat) with a bit of coconut milk is another wonderful choice.
The cold dessert for the young ones.

Kaya and butter toast for dessert .... that's my sons?

Besides these desserts there are many other dishes that are popular like Assam Laksa, Curry Mee, Prawn Mee, Nasi Lemak and others which you got to check them out.

Papa Johns @ Alpha Angle Wangsa Maju

I was reluctant to go with them for pizza (it's not my favourite food). I got no choice but to follow my wife and two boys to Papa Johns @ Alpha Angle, Wangsa Maju.
The restaurant looks brand new, clean and conducive.
Zu Yi started to coax me with a creamy mushroom soup.
I like it. The soup was concentrated with full of irresistible taste of mushroom.
Free pepperoncini (green chili pickle), special creamy garlic dipping sauce and special Papa Johns sauce for the potato wedges.
Baked potato wedges golden brown with crispy outer layer and smooth in the inside. Dip these wedges into the red sauce and feel the sensation.
Bread sticks baked from fresh dough and is served with the creamy garlic sauce....dip dip and bite it. Jo love the aroma of the bread and also the wonderful taste of this bread stick.
Succulent & juicy chicken wings well marinated with interesting spiciness in the meat.
Baked Garlic pepper Rice with a combination of ground beef, onions, green pepper, beef bits, topped with Mozzarella cheese and Bologniase sauce. Xiang Yi loves it very much.
Fisherman's Catch with crabsticks, tuna, frsh green pepper and onions.
Given a choice I would not opt for this again.
This pizza is half and half. Half All Meats and half Pepperoni.
This piece is more like it, pepperoni slices, cheese added, chicken roll, Italian sausages, beef bits and ground lean beef.... so much of meat how not to be good.
