Jinjang Fish Head @ Taman Sri Bintang, Kuala Lumpur

This is my first time visiting Jinjang Fish Head at Taman Sri Bintang, a relatively clean and well kept shop. You could see a couple of nice & big photos of their foods on the wall and if you have doubts as to what to order, these might be useful.

Steamed Fish Head is a popular delicacy in Kuala Lumpur and easily available in this city. The popular ones are found in Sg. Besi but there are other places selling equally good steamed fish head like this place. At this shop, there are several flavours or sauces for the steamed fish head, such as Gingers, Preserved Beans, Assam, Portuguese, Vietnamese or just a mere plain steam which is a common choice.

This is their standard own made sauce for the fish head, the fish was fresh and the sauce was fabulous.
German Knuckle is another popular dish in Jinjang Fish Head crispy on the outside, not so juicy in the inside but went very well with the red Chilean wine.

A bowl of black vinegar trotter was also sampled, the meat was tender and the soup was yummy.

Siew Wah enjoying the red wine while Jan enjoying the food.

Deep fried pork belly in thin slices cooked with red tomato sauce was deliciously crispy and slightly sweet.
Simple and plainly stir fried veggie.
