Restoran NEW Cheow Sang, Taman Mayang Jaya for Fish Head & Bak Kut Teh

As the sun sets, we set to west to Petaling Jaya in 2 cars travelling on the DUKE expressway for a treat by our good old neighbour the Ungs.
We tailed our neighbour to Taman Mayang Jaya at this shop and the name “Cheow Sang” was pretty familiar. We have been to Cheow Sang in SS2 but not Taman Mayang Jaya and apparently it’s another of the family’s outlets in Klang Valley. I heard since their old master or father kicked the bucket, the siblings went operating themselves at various corners of Klang Valley.
The braised fish head is one of Cheow Sang signature dishes, it is spicy and delicious.
Deep fried garopa was fabulous, crispy on the outside and sweetly fresh in the inside. We had two of this marvelous food.

Braised pork knuckles were delicious I think Zuyi had a big share of it. Sang Kut Bak Kut Teh which normally requires 45 minutes to cook and I guess Ung has made the prior arrangement for this dish. I enjoyed the soup very much.
Tau Pok (braised Dry Tau Foo) and Steamed egg was for the kids. They just love this egg.

We simply love the lady fingers that we ordered for another round. The stir fried lettuce was another green to balance up the meal.
