Air Itam Market Laksa found in Klang

It was a long way from my house to this place but it's worth driving all the way to Bukit Tinggi Klang and an interesting place to try authentic Penang Street foods at Angcle Peoh.
The shop has a good story on the wall as how the Ang family started selling Assam Laksa. Air Itam Market is the origin and the laksa is well known all over place.
Ang Kok Peoh or known as Angcle Peoh left Penang Island about a year plus to start a new venture in Klang Valley together with her daughter Kar Bee. Here they are joining force for a head start for Angcle Peoh.  If you remember there was once a nice Laksa Assam found in Asia Cafe which were actually operated by Kar Bee & her hubby. Apparently the one in Genting Cafe, Island Glades (Penang) is also run by the Ang family.
Char Koay Teow fried with duck egg that always has a stronger flavour is simply Jo's favourite.
Penang Hokkien Char that went well with the sambal belacan, I guess not many people would know how to appreciate it especially those not from Penang, a taste that requires an acquisition before you really like it.
Penang Hokkien Mee or better known in Klang Valley as Prawn Mee is a must in the list as far as Penang Street Foods is concernened.
Pork Noodle with delicious clear soup for those in the mood for a plain meal, it's not spicy hot and the well prepared soup is gorgeous.
I enjoyed this Assam Laksa it's rich, strong flavour, tasted delicious and lovely assam aroma. Do try this marvel if you are an assam laksa lover.
The curry isn't as white like the one in Penang it is more of a Klang Valley curry mee, the curry looks thick and I hope I will be back to savour it soon, meanwhile you tell me.
Cendol with red beans other than ABC Ice kacang and also a variety of drinks available to please you.

Delicious Penang Fried Noodle at Bandar Menjarala, Kuala Lumpur

It is quite difficult to find a decently good Penang Char Hor Fun in Klang Valley and there is one now at Bandar Menjalara. Danny is the man and he has been frying at this here for the last 3 months. We simply love his Char Hor Fun. During the night he operates outside the closed coffee shop and he is also available in the day, so go and check it out if you are a truly CHF lovers.
Danny's Char Koay Teow is not that fantastic to me but if eaten with his sambal it is awesome. He only serves this fry during the night because there is already a stall selling CKT in the day time.
Penanag Hokkien Mee is not so popular in Kuala Lumpur but if you are craving for one then try Danny's.
The delicious Char Hor Fun added with egg as my family like it with egg. The entire family members were very satisfied with this new found gem.... & we will definitely be back.
The Penang lobak was also good though I find a bit compact and with lesser spice flavour but my meat lover sons enjoyed it.
If you need to call him to make sure he is there to serve you at Restoran Double One whether it's in the night or day time. So go and enjoy a lovely Penang fried noodles at Bandar Menjalara.

Ah Leng Char Koay Teow During an Evening at Air Itam Penang

If you google "Ah Leng Char Koay Teow Penang" you would probably get on the stall at Datuk Keramat Road in lieu of the one at Air Itam.

Ah Leng is actually frying at Air Hitam and the one at Datuk Keramat is manned by the son.
My brother Ho Lin went across the road to get a packet of this the famous Char Koay Teow for me to try while waiting for the dishes from Ee Tong Restaurant. RM12 for this fried rice noodle with 4 big prawns & duck egg.
I find that this fried koay toew is too wet it could be better if Ah Leng fried it slightly drier....so the next time if you order your char koay teow from Ah Leng you should request it dry.
By the way you could also opt for chicken egg instead of duck egg, the taste is difficult and probably you might like it otherwise.
