Breakfast at Sri Hartamas Food Court

I like Mak Cik’s freshly cooked nasi Melayu at the 2nd last stall of this food court. You will see old portraits of Malay film stars hanging on the wall at the last stall (selling kuah muah & goreng stuffs). This court is situated at Jalan Hartamas 1 and a popular place for all kind of people such as taxi drivers, office workers, technicians, etc etc. It was so popular that I had to park my car a distant away from the food court.
There first stall is popular among taxi drivers and it sells nasi lemak, nasi ayam & nasi campur.
This warm rice with a fresh curry fish, a hardboiled egg, poached lady fingers & cauliflower and a dose of sambal belacan was heaven in the morning. And it costs me only RM5.00 including a glass of plain warm water probably because a smile of a familiar face that got a deal good. Terima Kasih Mak Cik. Saya akan datang lagi.

Restoran Soon Lee Somewhere Hidden in Segambut Kuala Lumpur

Restoran Soon Lee has its sign board located outside near and next to BP petrol station along Jalan Segambut. There is no sign board seen at this stall. "Chap Fun" or economy rice  is sold here beside many comes for their "Tai Chow".
This deep fried fish paste with bean curd wraping was delicious it was super crispy & fluffy on the outside and bouncy soft in the inside. This is a must try dish.
La La clams in ginger rice wine soup was good, the clams were big & fresh with thick shells.
Stir fried sawi vegetable to green up the lunch.

Steam local promfret was the best of the lots, fresh and yummy. Good recommendation "Si Tau Por" by the way her name is Evon.

Fried Siew Yok was lovely, I like the popping skin it was absolutely cripsy. Don't miss this dish okay!

Bitter gourd fried with chicken was just normal with no complaint at all.

We saw our neighbouring table enjoying their fried Hokkien Mee and we just can't help ourselves but to request for a small plate from Evon. The noodle had lot of lard chips in it and it was truly sinful indeed.

Perkahwinan Puteri Bongsu Zakaria Hussin @ Malaysia Agro Exposition Park

This is one wedding card that is creative and special. The wedding of my neighbour's daughter Nor Azira Zakaria. There are many weddings during this time of the year both Chinese wedding and Malay wedding. I  guess it is the best time to get marry.
Within MARDI itself there were several weddings and to find the place can be challenging, it was kinda of a treasure hunt.
Congratulation to Zakaria Hussin & Puan Noor Aziah Zainudin for this auspicious occasion and also the newly wed couple.

An outstanding couple heading for a new chapter of life.
A garden ceremony for remembrance.
A door gift to bring back with lot of blessing & greetings.
Nice beef rendang, chicken, roast lamb, nasi tomato, mee rebus and lot of sweet & dessert.

HaPpY BiRthday to Tan Eng Kiong & Happy Golfing @ Lembah Beringin

It's a public holiday on a Monday and I was going for golf at Lembah Beringin.....

A meal at Restoran Ah Soon for the popular steamed Tilapia fish before golf.

Curry wild boar...tender and spicy.

Choon Kim & Stir fried potato leaves.

Lembah Beringin Golf course is an interesting golf course managed by SSG and they are popular for the well maintained green. Fast & challenging.

It was a day to celebrate EK Tan's birthday. The weather was cloudy but not threatening at all in fact it was a wonderful day for golf.

The birthday boy throwing out a great drive and a birdie made by the birthday boy. What a lovely birthday gift.

Friendly opponent AS Lee
For the first time I witnessed an escalation from Jimmy, 3 pars in a row and yet he is still enjoying great subsidy from us.

Though I did not win but I enjoyed the game.

The last hole was a deciding hole, Jimmy had a good shot from the sand bunker and made it on the green. What a great finish.....JL & EK won the partnership.
