Porridge with Chicken @ Batu 3 Jalan Ipoh on An Evening

Just a road side stall selling porridge with poached chicken, pre-fried noodle, Chang (dumpling) and sited next to a Bak Kut Teh shop called Leng Kee (a corner tyre shop next to it).

Simple fried noodle de economical style
Poached chicken (half bird) was tender, juicy and delicious. No wonder business is so good.
Minced meat balls porridge - yummy and hot, eat slowly and not to burn your tongue. Unfortunately you can not see the meat balls they are all submerged in this bowl.
I guess it must be also the soy sauce that made it so yummy. We will come back again.

Killing two birds with a stone, we ordered a supplement bowl of mixed Bak Kut Teh from Leng Kee Bak Kut Teh shop. My boys love meat.

BROGA,LENGGENG, MANTIN,SEMENYIH LEISURE RIDE

It was a Saturday and the time was around 7.15am, we gathered at Taman Tasik Semenyih for a cycling trip around the vicinity of Semenyih.
A total of 8 riders took part in this ride and I was glad to meet new friends. It was going to be my first ever longest ride since I started 2 months back. We stopped for a photo taking session at University of Notthingham Broga .

After all the early preparation and gathering it was time to nurse our stomach for  an adventurous  day.
A simple breakfast of either Wan Ton Mee or Pan Mee for breakfast.

At Mun Far Coffee Shop in the town of Broga.

Getting set to continue the journey.
We reached a small town called Pekan Ulu Beranang before our next destination to Mantin.
I like stealing shots while riding and enjoying the beautiful country side.
Taking break & resting at intermittent intervals was necessary as we were in a leisure mode and nothing competitive.

My Dahon Speed P8 getting ready to challenge the uphill before a good and enjoyable downhill speed of 50.3km/h.
It was amazing to see such a beauty in the Mantin.
Another break to quench our thirst at Mantin town with 100 plus I had two cans and such a refreshing moment. The food seen at the coffee shop was gorgeous but not the correct time for food and to had say a pass for this. What a pity.

And off we left Mantin......
Pedal & pedal testing our leg muscle as we continued to ride.
We passed by Kolej Tuanku Jaffar & Staffield golf course.

A stop at Beranang as the weather was getting hotter and hotter.
Putting lot and lot of fluids into our bodies.

Another photo session.
At last we were back to our base.
Taman Tasik Semenyih.

A total of 46.93km achieved in this half day ride and I was happy I made it.
Time to reward ourselves for a good lunch at Seow Man Hot Soups at Semenyih.
A good recommendation by Tan Kim Hwa.

My favourite and also most of us the vinegar pork trotter.
Hot & super pepperish soup of chicken, meat & parts.
Kampong chicken in dark sauce.
Great lunch at a great eating shop in Semenyih.
Not forgetting this delicious bitter gourd fried with salted eggs.
