Tantalising Thai Cuisine at Erawan Kota Damansara

I have heard of this restaurant quite sometime back but did not have the chance to visit it until lately for a welfare lunch for a colleague.
Well, we started with a royal appetiser, Lotus's Petals Snack
One of the royal's snacks with a sweet memory
of lotus's petals.  Served with a special
condiments.
Love Letter Salad
During the King Rama II
This salad dish is one of his favourite
Until he wrote the poem to give to his wife
That how beautiful this dish is
Char grilled river prawns dressed with
Aromatic herbs and 3 types of sour ingredients
Served with varieties of vegetables
Something interesting and special for a chicken dish this was a Lemongrass Chicken with well roasted marinated chicken with a mixture of lemongrass.
Thai fried rice with crab meats so aromatic and tasty ...just simply gorgeous.
A bowl of seafood Tomyam clear soup that was the most exciting of all. I simply enjoyed the good taste and fragrant of it.
3 big fresh river prawns for 5 of us coated with special rich and creamy sauce that was so delicious.
Steamed Fish With Lime
Steamed sea bass with spicy and sour
Garlic and chili dressing sauce.
Stir fried crunchy Kailan vegetable with garlic and oyster sauce.
Spicy petai with prawns was so tantalising that you want rice. The petai were from Thailand big and crunchy.
Plain rice in a nice looking Siamese bowl with a cover.
Erawan's home made ice cream
Home made ice cream
With the premium quality ingredients
Glutinous rice with Mango.
The sweet “water lily mango” with steamed glutinous rice, coconut cream and topped with roasted mung bean
Durian platter
Home made durian ice cream served with glutinous rice
(soaked in butterfly pea flower and seasoned with coconut sauce)
and fresh local durian.

Erawan has opened another outlet recently at Mid Valley Mega Mall.

The food looks great. So many new Thai Brands in KL nowadays. Have you check out ChaTraMue: Original Thai Tea since 1945? They have about 30 outlets in Thailand and just recently open third outlet in Plaza Low Yat. Currently have outlets in IOI City Mall, Putrajaya and Berjaya Times Square,KL as well. Love the aroma, strong tea flavour and the original Thai taste. #ChaTraMue
