Breakfast @ Kuala Lumpur Chinatown

Looking for a place to eat breakfast in Kuala Lumpur Chinatown, well you can visit this eating place at Tang City Food Court.

There are a variety of foods for you to choose. In the morning you can see a number of local senior citizens breaking their fast here some of them might have just finished their morning exercise and some might have just sit in for their daily routine meal.

A black coffee to start off together with a bite of Dim Sum before a bowl of noodle is served on my table.

Jo loves her beef noodle.

The beef noodle here is one the famous foods in Tang City Food Court but the stock looks too plain in the early morning. Probably this was the first bowl of the day.

My Prawn Mee of the Kuala Lumpur version. The soup is plain but tasty. I was having a slight hang over and a soup like this is an excellent relief for hang over.

Penang Curry Mee - Lorong Seratus Tahun @ Jalan SS2/66 Petaling Jaya.

This Chinese New Year I did not go back to Penang and I miss the food there. The moment I came back from Singapore I have been thinking of Penang curry noodle. It was the 4th day of Chinese New Year and was wondering whether this shop is open or not.

Thank goodness it was opened and I ordered right away a bowl of Penang Curry Mee.

I had a satisfying taste of the noodle at Lorong Seratus Tahun not in Penang but in Petaling Jaya. It was indeed fulfilling.

Jo tried the Assam Laksa and she enjoyed and gave a thumb up for her Laksa.

My dessert of the day was an awesome Cendol with red bean.

The Return of the Ch_Bai Game.

The tension has been brewing for quite a while between two particular ethnic groups at a particular gangland and it was between a group of Chinese and Punjabi (also commonly known as Baii) hardcore.

Finally the dust has settled after a fight and it was time to set a side the duel and have a sumptuous dinner together. They called it “The Ch_bai” showdown. The word is vulgar but they like it, a combination of the words “Chinese” and “Baii”.
As Malaysians and in the spirit of Chinese New Year we jointly celebrated the festival and it was truly a wonderful evening.

Despite losing the game, Captain Wong gave a few good words and everyone was looking forward for the future games.

Dato’ Nashatar Singh our former Olympian was here with us. He enjoyed himself with the company & the karaoke and we hope to see him again.

Captain from the other group also exchanged a few good words and agreed that the game should be continued as desired by both parties.

They bragged a lot they argued a lot and eventually they celebrated. Just look at their faces such a loving pair.

There were abundance of foods, drinks, songs & fellowship. Let keep the spirit forever going. Meanwhile for the record it was 2-1 in favour of the Baii.

Lion & Dragon Dance for the Year of the Rabbit

Another year has gone another shot for the office album. Well Done! We will stay and move on in the name of advancement. Congratulation Advancecon.

We used to have only the lion for the dance but this year a new troupe from Serendah came with an additional performance of Dragon dance. It was colourful and cheerful. What a festivity at our office.

See here for last year's posting.
