A Worthy Experience Playing at The Mines Golf Resort in Malaysia

The Mines Resort & Golf Club was the largest open cast tin mine in the world. Malaysia was once rich in tin producing in fact the world largest tin producer in the world. Today it has become one of the top golf courses in Malaysia and the most expensive place to play in the country.

It is so expensive to play in The Mines, RM500+ per person during weekdays and RM450+ during weekends. So you don’t normally get the chance to play in The Mines as a common golfer. But this Ramadan month had an opening for us to play in this golf course. We got a member to sign us in and it cost us RM170.00 per person to play. It was a good deal and had a wonderful round of golf here.

The weather was cloudy but it was a prefect day for golf so long as there is no rain we love the weather.

We have different style of swings at the tee boxes, they maybe unorthodox but who cares as long as the golf balls can fly to a reasonable distance we are happy.

Is Robert playing baseball or golf? But most importantly he always get the furthest drive among us & it's time to read the tricky green.

Tiger Woods was here in 1999 to play the World Cup. He eagled this hole Hole No.17 and Mok & Yeaw SK at the Club House after our game.

One for the record at The Mines Golf Resort.
It is surely a scenic golf course.
The Sultan of Kedah had a Hole in One at this Hole. Well Done your Majestic.
