This is one of the rare porridge shops you can find in Kuala Lumpur. Teochew rice porridge in the olden days where usually provided by the Chinese bosses to their coolies as part parcel of employing workers. There are some shops in town selling Teochew porridges at an exorbitant price but this shop Restaurant Yu Yee in Segambut is quite reasonable. 
This meal cost me RM6.50 with 
a de-boned fried kambong fish, 
Loh egg, 
Loh pork spare parts and 
a bowl of rice porridge. This is a mini round about near the shop.
