Eating crabs is an affair where you either like it or you don’t, some like to eat but do not like to work on the shell, cracking & breaking the shell can be tedious and messy. Be prepared for a messy and knocking affair so that you can enjoy the meal.
There are 3 scenarios of dining atmosphere at this place, you can have it at the road side, or at the nicely renovated with pleasant fittings & air-cond atmosphere or at the upstairs where the décor is totally bare like a prison cell. Obviously the nice dining area is the first to be packed with people and if you not early (meaning before 7pm) all 3 places would be packed especially on weekends. And like it or not you have to wait for a table if you are late. The best offer for any crab dishes in town.
Signature egg To Fu with marinated mince meat topping is delicious.
Crabs baked with butter and cheese is a popular version in the place. The Man Tau (bun) is a must for you to taste the creamy sauce.
Salted egg crabs are another popular choice with great flavour & aroma of salted egg.
Fried Bun is crispy at the skin but soft in the inside it is you to clean up the cheese & butter gravy. And Seafood Yee Mee (noodle) served with cheesy sauce – interesting if you love cheese.
Braised big pork rib – tender and juicy.
Spicy fried chicken fillet and Deep fried Calamari.
Stir fried Siu Pak Choy with garlic. Crunchy & nice.
As for me I would prefer a simple steamed crab or baked crab with no cheese, butter, salted egg or whatsoever ingredient on it. It might sounds boring but I tell you ….. it is the best!!! Anyway thanks to Wei Xiang for this treat, he has just started a working career. What a relief for his parent.
