Founder of Bak Kut Teh at Rangoon Road, Singapore

Two years back on the same road I ate at Ng Ah Sio Pork Ribs Soup Eating House, this time Siean Sin brought us to Founder Bak Kut Teh, a branch from Balestier Road. For a change I do not mind eating Singapore mild Bak Kut Teh in fact I like the pepperish clear BKT soup here.
It looked like we would not be taking any lunch for the day.
Founder Bak Kut Teh 发起人肉骨茶, the tender ribs that requires eating with your hand. Like I have said I enjoyed sipping this clear soup.
Braised Pig Trotter 卤猪脚
Tau Kee - the soy sauce bean sheet is rather longer than ours in KL soft but not that chewy.
Tau Pok is darkish in colour but it has more form and succulent if compared with our Kuala Lumpur type.
Tang O Soup 茼蒿汤
You-tiao (Fried dough fritters) 油条 was not as good as Kuala Lumpur.
 This second outlet Founder Bak Kut Teh is managed by Mr. Chua's daughter and her grand daughter.
The legend of Founder Bak Kut Teh shall remain for a long while with the right people holding the fort at Rangoon Road.What a way to go!
