Good Old Days @ Kampung Sg. Kayu Ara
The name of the restaurant is called Good Old Days and the place is set back in the olden days of the Chinese swordsmen where you can see such scenes from Hong Kong movies.
While waiting for the food to come, we tried this Chinese wine called “Nu Er Hong”. It has to be warmed up and served in tiny Chinese tea cup with a preserved plum in it. Plain water served in bowl just like you see in the sword fighting movie.
Clay pot pork tail with pig stomach, intestine and tofu. Fried petai with dried shrimps. Braised beancurd. Steamed fish with chopped ginger. These are also commonly seen in the Hong Kong movies. The waiters in action.
