The route we took before the countdown for a new year . HaPpY hApPy 2013 |
Putrajaya is beautiful and as the night slowly comes in with light on it is even prettier. |
A group of us went to Umai D Lake Cafe @ Alaf Baru Monument for our dinner. Food was good but service was very slow....
Friends at the starting point waiting for the flag off. The atmosphere was awesome, it was kind of a jovial carnival with many people, cyclists, bright lights and loud music. Party time! |
It was a leisure ride with many pit stops. There were two points where water and banana were provided. |
Free food & drinks were given out after the ride, we gathered at the same area where we registered ourselves the event. It was time to party and witness the countdown. |
Happy New Year & May this year be a good year for everyone.
We are friends of Malaysian Foldies and this is the first Tee shirt to mark a good start for the year. |
The traffic after the countdown was horrendous, too many cars and it was a stand still situation. We decided to stay put in Putrajaya and look for a place for supper.
We cycled to Precinct 9 for nasi kandar, roti canai etc etc.... |
Not only the traffic was jammed up, the restaurant was also packed with patrons and by the time we reached home it was about 3.30am. It was a fantastic event and I like the firework most. Cheers. |
