It was a Mother's Day lunch where I took my mom, wife & sis for a Teochew taste at one of the oldest serving restaurants in Penang. I was happy with the food we had.
Braised Cabbage with Mushroom 香菇汶包菜 was a complimentary dish and indeed a good appetizer. |
Bitter gourd stir fried with roast pork was delicious. |
Assam prawns with green pepper |
Kailan stir fried with fried fish with another favourite dish of mine. |
Teowchew steam pomfet fish was tasty and awesome. 潮式蒸斗昌. One of the popular dish here. |
