7 friends from Kulim gathered @ Yaki Yaki Japanese Barbeque Restaurant at Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur for a good dinner cum fellowship.
One of our friends is back from Adelaide for a holiday and another from Kulim is also in town for some education related training. The presence of these 2 old friends has given us a good reason to meet and dine at this new Japanese restaurant. And these 2 friends are none other than Wong Sooi Chan and Lye Keok Wah. Together with Lim Kui Suang (Lisa), Brian Koh, Tan Kean Hooi, Yeoh Cheang Tiek & myself, we were able to meet up again for old time sake.
The promotional offer @ Yaki Yak was so attractive (50% discount) coupled with several good recommendations from some food blogs make us decide to dine in Yaki Yaki despite the many fears of bad traffic jam in Bukit Bintang area. Thank goodness the traffic was so friendly indeed. The longer you reside in Klang Valley the more reluctant you would want to go to Jalan Bukit Bintang for anything and would prefer to stay away from this busy part of the city.
The foods in Yaki Yaki were good with a vast variety to choose. We had a private room for ourselves & it was pleasant and conducive. The white charcoal in the Japanese stove which burns longer and with less smoke. This Promotional period ends on 30 April 2009.
