2 days before Merdeka Day. Zuyi is already in the mood to celebrate.

Ayam goreng a favourite for the kids.

Jo always like curry mutton and always like Kayu Curry Mutton.

I always like telur rebus & curry ikan (fish) and avoiding my favourite Kari Sotong (squids). Another bowl of curry mutton for Xiang Yi.

The quality of food here is good and consistent. That is why customers keep on coming back for more even though the prices are on a steep side.

Ice Kacang or popularly known as ABC. Sea coconut is found in this ABC.

Zuyi enjoyed this fried drum stick and the multi gravy on his plate of rice.

No Corkage Bring Your Own (BYO) Drinks,,,,,, This is good news for some of my friends. Thanks to Rebacca for sharing this place. It is only about 2 months old and it is a pretty nice place to dine especially if you are a pork meat lover.

Grilled Pork Chop with spaghetti & Aussie Bacon Burger Wrap

Sausage wrapped with bacon on bun & a delicious Salad

The Pork Burger seems to be popular with mashed potatoe & BBQ Pork Ribs with fries.

I enjoyed this beer, Bavaria from Holland and the price is very reasonable for an imported beer.

Cheese cake & ice cream. What a lovely way to complete the dinner.

Lovely Dessert with sesame gravy oozing out as you bite it.

Who say time is bad, judging from the good crowd at the restaurant it does not seem so. the business is so good and brisk. It was a lunch for 4 people.

AAM Golf Invitation 2007 Swiss Garden Damai Laut

It was another break with my family in the State of Perak in 2007, August 25. Together with Tan Eng Kiong and family we stayed at Swiss Garden Damai Laut for a night and 2 rounds of golf.

 

On the way to this secluded corner of the world we had a good round of makan makan at Bidor & Kg. China, Perak.

This boy was a bit outsized I am glad he is not like this today.

Parenting as part of My Journey

Some of my friends have completed their parenting duties to provide whatever necessary needs to their children from infancy stage to growing adults. But I still have a long way to go.

Sometimes it is emotionally stressful but most of the times it was a fun experience being a parent and thankfully I have a wonderful wife to assist in this role of parenting. We might not be the perfect parent but we try to provide the best to the boys.
