Taiwanese Porridge @ Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur

If you fancy a Taiwanese Porridge then probably you can try at Fong Lye Restaurant which they have several branches in town. My evening at Desa Sri Hartamas.

The interior décor is pleasant and the business was very good.

They have lovely china wares both for tea and food.

Fried Tofu (bean curb cube) with a bit of anchovies & sweet Thai sauce. It was very appetizing indeed for a start.

Sweet potato porridge and a delicious stir fried bitter gourd with thinly sliced pork belly.

Crispy deep fried intestines was so sinful but gorgeous with the plain sweet potato porridge. And the fish was maybe a wrong choice of the evening not that fresh and the sauce was salty.

To me it is just another ordinary Teochew porridge but sold at a premium price.

I do not know about the rest of the taste here but I find that the salt level was a bit high for those dishes I had.
And lastly, a complimentary lime drink was fabulous even though it was a tiny glass like tequila but it was soothing to my throat.
