While my wife & sons were still in their dream world at the hotel I went out searching for a place for their breakfast and I found this place for them.
A feel of authentic Hong Kong cuisine is available at Katong which is just behind Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel.
Most of the restaurant workers are of China nationality maybe all of them. The service was good and the waiting staff is very polite.
The pricing is reasonable and is open 24 hours. Now that our mamak brothers have potential competitors which we hope we can see such competition in Kuala Lumpur.
We have learned a new term in Singapore “fishing” if you want to order a Chinese tea drink. Just mentioned “fishing” in Mandarin you will get this sachet Chinese tea drink. This place allows you to add hot water refill others might not. Chinese tea in pot is not popular.
Dim Sum in cage is a combination of Dim Sum with 6 different types to savour.
