What are these people queuing for?? with their umbrellas, out on the road pavement?? Oh my God!! These are crazy people, queuing under the hot sun for Bak Kua (dry BBQ meat slice) at Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur.
Guess this is a popular practice among the Chinese in Malaysia to buy Bak Kua for Chinese New Year festival. I am sure Chinese people outside Malaysia, do the same thing, right?Judging from the queue, I guess this particular stall Wing Heong is very popular comparing to the others. Like this one…. Loong Kee. But we opted for this name, “Wo Lai Ye” as we have been buying this particular brand for the past years. The last time I brought Bak kua from Thailand it was a total different experience and it was unpalatable and with strong odor… Malaysian Bak Kua is still the BEST!. Come over Malaysia and try yourself. You will not regret.
