Assam Fish for Breakfast @ Kota Damansara

This is my first meal of the week at a Malay restaurant near my work place and also my favourite place for Nasi Melayu breakfast.
As a Malaysian, we are very proud and fortunate to be able to enjoy so many varieties of dishes in this lovely country. A plate of plain rice with assam bawal (black pomfret), a fried egg and poached bean sprout. The assam gravy was superb and delicious. RM5.50 for this breakfast including a glass of plain water.

You will be surprise prices in Klang Valley at times could be cheaper than Penang...but not at branded places like "Kayu" etc etc...
