A total of 24 riders participated in this event on 19 May 2013. I was very happy to receive such an encouraging response despite it was a last minute decision to call for one. |
My neighbour Tey & the family were there too, welcome thy neighbour. I am happy that they are still enjoying the sport after my sweet persuasion and I am sure they got no regret. |
Melody from Hong Kong for the first time cycling in Malaysia with her new Dahon Expresso. Initially I was a bit worry about her endurance but after when she started to ride I was sure she can complete the ride in fact she enjoyed it very much. We hope to see her again for our future events. |
The rest of the cyclists were our regular friends from My Cyclist Friends group and here we were heading to Precinct 8 for breakfast. |
The breakfast was good and essential.
The roads in Putrajaya is pretty safe during the weekends .... though there are lesser vehicles on the road children is required to be guided at all time.
After a short ride on public road we were then cruising at the lakeside of beautiful Putrajaya. |
Preparing ourselves for a group photo what a beautiful back drop. |
Hiding under the shade and taking a breather.
This another interesting spot of Putrajaya. |
White sandy beach & picnic.
Pullman Lakeside Hotel and its charm...
The heat was getting unpleasant and we slowly roll back in a single obedient line. |
11.45am - Ride completed & satisfied. |
For a simple and quick lunch at Umai D lake cafe next to the Monument.
By 1.00pm all were done and we parted our separate way home.....
That's all folks & hope to see you all again for another ride. |
