Mid-Autumn Festival (Zhongqiu Jie 中秋節) Celebration

A dinner was set to mark the celebration of The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, or in Chinese, Zhongqiu Jie 中秋節. Sometimes it’s known as Lantern Festival or Mooncake Festival. We celebrated at Loong Foong Seafood Restaurant, Paramount Garden.
A restaurant well known for their roast duck, really good and delicious.

And they are also popular for their pumpkin seafood.

We also took the occasion to celebrate Xiang Yi’s birthday at SS2 (FIL’s house). A simple cake from Bread’s Story.

Mahjong game as part of the Mid-Autum Festival.

Happy Birthday Xiang Yi.

One for the Album.

Wow, you can write some Chinese now?
We were away at the Gold Coast for a few days.
Anyway, good to hear that you had a gathering last Friday. Post some photos of old friends like Lim seng if you can, cos i hazy or forgot how everyone looks like now.
