Clay Pot Porridge @ Jalan Ipoh, KL - Tin Hoe Hweeh

My first meal for 2010 with my wife was at Restoran Tin Hoe Hweeh, Jalan Ipoh and of course the first meal has to be a good breakfast to welcome the New Year.

There was a good crowd here to start the year at this part of the world. Knowingly or unknowingly they are ushering the New Year. We were there to try the porridge and some Tim Sum too.

Restoran Tin Hoe Hweeh is located at the junction of Jalan Merak & Jalan Ipoh.

This pot of porridge was meant for one person with frog and slices of fish in it. There were more ingredients than the porridge in it and for RM18.00.

The taste was delicious and soothing, the frog and fish were fresh and tasty.

Braised chicken feet – it was attractive and good.

Siu Mi was good for a local standard.

Fish paste ball with veggie was good and bouncy.
Prawn Tim sum was good too.
It was indeed a good breakfast for us and a good start for 2010. May 2010 be a fantastic Year for every body and stay healthy so that one can endure the eating adventures. You need to eat anyway and enjoy while you eat.
