Teochew Seafood Porridge @ Jalan Ipoh, KL

Let me take you to Ipoh Road again for porridge. Yes porridge again but this time a different kind of porridge at this shop. It is located at the last mile of Jalan Ipoh and at the junction with Jalan Bernam leading to Taman Kok Lian. And the name of this shop is Restoran Ipoh Road (if I remember it was not this name previously I guess they just got this name approved by the authority and such an appropriate name).

There is a variety of fresh seafood available here such as prawns, squid, oyster, clams, fish balls and several kinds of fishes all for you to pick. This stall is the first stall to operate after they took over the shop few years back which used to serve western food. Today there are several other interesting stalls in the shop which I will come back again and savour the food
Teochew porridge is different from the Cantonese porridge or congee, Teochew porridge is plain and the rice grains are visible in the porridge.

Here a bowl of my Teochew porridge with 3 fish balls, fish fillet and La La clam for a sum of RM12.50. If you are not a porridge person then there are also noodles for you.
The fresh La La clams are delicious and they are all carefully sorted and cleaned before it is ready to be cooked.
