Penang Nasi Kandar in Kuala Lumpur

By judging from the people queuing for the food it can vouch that the place is popular and the food must be good. This Indian Muslim shop, Mohd Yaseen Nasi kandar Pulau Pinang is located at the street of Kuala Lumpur called Tuanku Abdul Rahman where it neighbors a string of motor repair shops. According to my eating buddy, he said that this place is authentic for nasi kandar, and mostly others are modified nasi kandar or boutique nasi kandar found every where in Klang valley.
By the way, nasi kandar was meant to be sold on this type of basket carry over the shoulder with a pole. The word “kandar” means “carry at each end of a pole on the shoulder”. The business was brisk eventhough we were there after lunch hour (immediately after 2.00pm).
