Popular Wanton Mee @ Ming Kee, Bukit Maluri, KL

Restoran Ming Kee has been in Bukit Maluri for a long time and I have yet to see any food blogs on it. Ming Kee Wanton Mee is popular among the people staying around the vicinity of Kepong. The shop sells nothing else except the Wanton Noodle.
The Wanton is delicious of original characteristic even though the wanton size is small. I like the soup too, tasty and most importantly there is no complaint of MSG side effect.
Since I do not come to this neighbourhood often, I requested for extras (poached chicken) on my Char Siew Wanton Mee (dry version – Kon Loh).

The poached chicken tasted good, the lean Char Siew also tasted good. There is nothing to complain but simply a good breakfast in Restoran Ming Kee.
There is one thing peculiar about this shop is that they have this water tap at the stove continuously running into a basin where the Old Master would dip the noodle into the cold water. To me this is the Trade Mark of Ming Kee. Probably a kind of good Feng Shui brief for them, just guessing….

been 2 tis place OK nia! Try tis wtm stall at Fong Lye kopitiam in Puchong(same row as EON Bank).
Their noodles r in fine strands unlike others ie thick or curly.
Ask them 2 make not 2 wet n not too soft coz when they r crowded quality tends 2 suffer. Their charsiew is also good too...delicious....RM3.80 for charsiew, wanton mee worth it..
