It tasted like one and a palatable one, tangy enough to pass as a typical Penang Assam Laksa but could be better.
Nothing like the one found in Pearl Island.
I happened to be at a relatively new coffee shop at Kuala Ampang “Kedai Makan Soi Mun” and a clean place to eat. Suddenly I crave for Penang Assam Laksa when seeing the word “Asam Laksa” at one of the stalls. So I ordered one.
This shop must be popular in the porridge where you can see a great emphasis on their porridge.
Kuala Ampang is a Chinese New Village and a place where it has came a long way to become a popular place for weekend marketing and a seafood haven for expatriates staying in and around Ampang area.
