Penang Day 2 - Hunting for Breakfast @ Penang Markets

It was only 6 something in the morning and I am out of my mum’s house to follow 3 Ah Shou to 2 markets i.e. Air Itam & Jelutong.

The scenes at Air Itam, Penang got lot of motor bikes, tourists pouring in to visit the newly completed Kuan Yin statue. These are the early birds seen at this spot.

The second destination was Jelutong Market, I told my sister that I am splitting the group for Nasi Kandar search. The one at this coffee shop have almost sold out and nothing attractive left, so I continued the search.

. The Nasi Kandar was a disappointment and regret that I have used up my private limited tummy for something not so satisfying

I decided to join back my mother’s group at her friend eatery place under a big tree here at the market. I ordered this dish just to satisfy myself from the earlier disappointment. The bowl of Koay Chiap was fabulous - a translucent noodle with braised intestine and duck meat.
