Sid's Pub @ Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur

A pub runs by an Ang Mo with a strong colonial setting and of course you will see a lot of Ang Mo at Sid’s Pub. Probably a common social meeting place for them and Sid is of course the Taukeh (boss) of this place

The pub was full, there were more drinking than eating in the pub. We had a table for four outside the pub as it was crowded inside, anyway it was after a down pour the air was cool, windy and most importantly smoke free. It was indeed a great spot to dine outside Sid's Pub.
Fried sausages wrapped with bacon were delicious despite it was slightly oily. It went so well with my Guinness Draft.
A dish of button mushrooms with garlic, cream and blue cheese. Something I don’t really fancy (the cheese) but surprisingly it was alright and good when eaten with the toasted bread. It was supposed to be BBQ pork ribs but I think it was deep fried rather than barbequed, it was too dark a colour for a fried dish, most likely it was the cooking oil that has been reused too many times. Anyway, it tasted good.
The Pork Burger was big and delicious which came with lovely fries.

Beef Burger was equally good and tasty.

They do a pretty good cod and chips too!
