Sin Yin Nam Cafe @ New Lane (Lorong Baru) / Macalister Road, Penang

We reached Penand Island around 5.30pm and proceeded straight to my mum’s place @ Taman Farlim. As for dinner, I brought the Ung’s family to Sin Yin Nam Café for a local street food experience. It’s always a challenge to eat at such places particularly during holiday season, first you got to scramble for a table or two then you will start the food fiesta.
We managed to secure 2 tables side by side, my favourite curry mee, may the power of curry be with you, I like it very much.

Ung sampled this Penang Hokkien Mee aka Prawn Mee.
A plate of Char Koay Kak to share….

A simple but marvelous Wan Tan Mee.

Loh Mee with braised chicken feet.
Jue Hoo Eng Chye – Sotong @ Kangkong.

Chinese Satay with plain & watery sauce..
O Chen, oyster. Auntie from Batu Pahat loves it so much and keep on saying that “It’s better than those in Muar”.
Ikan bakar – BBQ stingray.
Tua Pan Koay Teow – Jo & Xiang’s favourite noodle.
BBQ chicken wings a favourite among the kids…

Woh, so much to eat, my tummy is going to explode leh.....
The atmosphere at New Lane was fantastic just like a party going on with lot of stalls, cars and people … really happening place…..
