This food court is built by Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur in line to relocate and centralize all roadside stalls in Setiawangsa but there are still new roadside stalls sprouting again. Whether this is a Malaysian culture (road side hawkering) or the authority is just too weak in the implementation to enforce such control.
Gerai No.4 “Mail Mee Rebus Penang” is one of the original stalls in Setiawangsa and has been popular for their Mee Rebus, Rojak and Laksa Utara. See my previous posting of their laksa here.
This Mee Rebus is of northern Malaya style rather they called it Mee Rebus Utara. It is sweeter in taste and I would prefer this northern mee rebus than Rosli Mee Rebus of Masjid India or the one behind Yut Kee (Campbell).
See my previous posting of their laksa here.
