Restoran Foh San @ Leong Sin Nam Road, Ipoh

It was just past 6.30am and I got a morning call for a visit to Restoran Foh San for Dim Sum.
These are the early birds, before they were able to get the worms, a wait for a table was mandatory.

The new look of Restoran Foh San at Jalan Leong Sin Nam, Ipoh.

The last time I visited Foh San was on 6 February 2008 which you can see it here. Now they are operating in a bigger premise with a new image for Foh San.

The crowd is as busy as usual especially when it comes to public holidays or weekends.

Somehow people from outstations would know how to find themselves to this place for Dim Sum.

An old bicycle displayed at the entrance of the shop, it must have some stories behind it.
The egg tarts on the trolley…

Bamboo baskets – it is a common sight in any Dim Sum outlets all over the world.

The Char Siew Pau (pork bun) of Foh San (slightly of sweet taste).

Four attractive buns....

Fried carrot cake with lots of Ipoh Taugeh.

I start to dread the waiting for a table saga.

waking early in the morning is not a problem, to scramble foe a table is a BIG problem. They should improvise a numbering system and have a waiting area.
