Restoran De Maw @ Ulu Pudu Road

As far as this Ulu Pudu Road is concerned, I always associated it with an old wooden shop popular for its Yong Tau Foo and home cooked foods which we used to frequent during the early 90’s.
Today I was introduced to this place by a friend and I find it quite unique in a certain way.
Restoran De Maw is actually located next or near to a high rise building, Menara PGRM

Steamed peanuts – a good starter.

Fresh preserved green chilli which I like to eat it with the shark fins soup.

The shark fin soup with fresh crab meat was too starchy other than that it was quite alright.

Braised Goose Webs with mushroom and fish maw.
A closer look at the goose web. What a fine delicacy found in Chinese cuisine.

Always a must order is a dish of veggie, this time something different with meticulously fried salted egg.

Steamed fish (Wan Yee) with finely ground ginger was the best, the fish was fresh and truly delicious.

The Wan Yee should be very delicious. Like those ginger portions.

Their "chicken jump over the wall" soup is simply superb but must order 1 day in advance. 1 serving is good for 6-10 people depending on the number of dishes you order.
